When we developed the logo we chose to keep an electrical theme and adopted an electrical diagram approach. We thought this would reflect the simplicity and ease of use that we aim to design our app to have. We chose the name circuit because it is a homonym for electricity, playing well for the energy efficient side of our app, and connectivity - again reflecting the network aspect of our app.
